Radiesse is an FDA-approved filler made of calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHa) microspheres suspended in a gel carrier. Once injected, the gel is absorbed over time, leaving behind the CaHa microspheres. The body then metabolizes these microspheres and stimulates the body to produce collagen. Therefore, Radiesse is not only a volumizing filler, but also a collagen stimulator.
